Watching Liverpool playing Chelsea last night at Anfield, there was a tackle by Jordan Henderson on Oriol Romeu that looked like something Siegfried Sassoon described in a WWII poem.

The Chelsea defender genuinely reacted like a sniper victim on a Washington gas station forecourt. After watching this pathetic display, it reminded me of a video I was sent during the week about Lionel Messi’s lack of propensity for the Ashley Young behaviour.

After watching 6 minutes and 33 seconds of the Argentine and Barcelona genius, it restored my faith in football somewhat. It’s refreshing to know that the greatest player on the plant also happens to be the most credible and honest.

Kids take note. Don’t sprint and dive.
